Ever since sixth grade, when Chris asked me how to talk to Maria, I’ve been the person that my friends came to with questions about talking to the opposite sex, or how to handle a situation at work or with a loved one.


Over time, I’ve come to realize that these are the conversations that leave me feeling the most fulfilled… conversations where something shifts in the other person’s world, conversations that leave the other person, you, empowered to pursue the life you truly desire.


Accordingly, I’ve spent my entire adult life gaining experience and seeking personal growth in the area of interpersonal relationships, and have completed over 650 hours of coursework with Landmark Education. I am also a Certified Coach through the Coach Training Alliance in Boulder, CO, and a member of the NW Coaches Association in Portland, OR, the local chartered chapter of the International Coach Federation.


I chose to create my life as an individuals and couples Relationship Coach out of dedication to my personal mission that all people are free to choose and free to live the intimate relationships that inspire them. My specialty lies in supporting my clients in achieving effective and authentic communication skills, a full awareness and acceptance of themselves as sexual beings, and fulfilling relationships in every area of their lives. 


Regarding my Sexuality Consulting business, I’ve been active in the alternative sexuality and sex-positive scenes since 2003, becoming active in advocacy in 2005. In 2006 I created a FUN(d)Raiser for the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom that has raised nearly $40K since it’s inception. I was also the managing editor for the newsletter of the Community-Academic Consortium for the Research of Alternative Sexualities until June of 2008, and am a current member of Advocates and Educators for Sexual Awareness in Colorado.

My personal experience in these lifestyles has given me a unique perspective on sex and love, and has contributed significantly to my communication and relationship skills. It is my firmly held belief that the lessons I’ve learned through my experience with alternative relationships can be employed to benefit ANY relationship, and that is my intention!

My practice philosophy revolves around the concepts of Communication and Personal Responsibility as the foundation of trust, honesty and intimacy. You will see these concepts arise repeatedly in my blog and in the video clips of my presentations. 


I know from experience that by being truly honest with ourselves (sometimes painfully so), and communicating responsibly with the people in our lives, our relationships alter and naturally lend themselves toward an experience of acceptance and love.


I invite you to consider what it would be like to experience such acceptance and love (in it’s many varied forms) in every area of your life… work, school, family, faith/spirituality, romance, or whatever areas are most important to you. Life does not happen in a vacuum – it is built upon and given by the quality of our relationships… with others and, even more importantly, with ourselves.
